- PANTHER GREYHOUNDS
SUNDAY UPDATES - HAWK WINS ON TRACK DEBUT
It has been a very much up and down week for Panther and owners.

PANTHERS HAWK - HAWK
Put into an A2 for her track debut today but she ran a cracker. Flying out and led all the way and stayed on strong. Just turned 2 years of age she has now won 4 races in total and 1 from 1 at Sunderland. Touchwood she is a very nice prospect for her owners WHO WERE ADVISED ALAN WAS BACKING AND THE SP OF 8/1 WAS A VERY WELCOME BONUS AS IT HADN'T BEEN EXPECTED TO BE AS LARGE.
PANTHERS RAVEN - RAVEN
Had expected Raven to have been on the card this last week but it will now be this week. Unfortunately it would have helped fitness wise if she had been on last week. She is well however and shares are available at £139 all in cost for her racing career and if you want to join her ownership group, please just get in touch with Anne. 07775 743 885
PANTHERS STORM - STORM
Ran a 3 dog trial today but sluggish out and seemed to struggle on bends before picking up down home straight to again get to the bunny first from well off pace. Proving to be a real headscratcher.
PANTHERS DANCER - DANNI
Off track as she is in season
PANTHERS SHANIA - SHAN
Again met problems in running when trying to get across but this time she shattered a leg in the melee. Unfortunately she had to be euthanized on vets advice. All our dogs have the stipulation that they will be saved and rehomed but in this case Shan couldn't be saved. Such a sad loss for owners and kennel as Shan still wasn't even two years of age and had plenty of ability.
PANTHERS BLUEY - BLUEY
Ran her heart out on Thursday and went down in 2nd place staying on strong in her attempt to make it 3 straight wins.
PANTHERS PIPPA - PIP
Ran on Friday but although running her best race to date also 'turned her head'. Although expecting her to be disqualified, she has been marked as awkward but rather than trial back in, a decision has been made to retire her out of racing. In reality, she has never really been in love with racing and much prefers lots of human attention and fuss. She is a bonny looker and will I'm sure, settle onto a sofa in no time ! Jimmy is going to be sad to no longer meet up with Pip at the kennels, as he enjoyed going into play mode with her - even if she soon tired of his rough approach and ran back to me to keep out of Jimmy's way.
HAVANA BLACKBIRD - ANA
Ran a sprint trial and will run a 4 bend trial this week as she comes back to the track having been bitten by another dog in a fight over food.
