CAN DO BETTER !

Last week's selection Tulip broke slow and was never challenging during the race. Plus slowed down in home straight to the point I wondered if all was ok with it. The fact it is running again tonight hopefully means all ok and it is a dog that looks capable of winning such a race and so I have plumped for her once again to bring home the bonios - even though a dog Alan thinks is a dog to follow (Double Drunk) is in the same race. I have to go out all day today and so can't advise on odds as they come up but tissue at 9/4. It is a card with 6 heats of the Ted Lloyd Classic Open race on and including El Nora a dog whom Alan also believes is capable of running better than of late but would have to at present odds of 12/1. Also of interest in the last is Zari Mac a winner last time and a full litter brother of PANTHERS WIZARD. Interesting racing but the bonios are on WITTON TULIP IN THE 6.22

On a very sad note, it was awful news a week ago when we were informed of the death of Lucy Horner. Lucy was an excellent jockey and a good friend who had been involved with A & A with the horses and also owned a share in myself when I was racing. So Sad.
